Coming to La Dominette means discovering snail farming. Developed by Christine Wattelier, a former optician turned snail farmer, the farm has nearly 120,000 snails (Gros Gris and Petits Gris) processed on site in a CE-certified laboratory. Plain, with parsley butter, in suçarelle (Provençal sauce), in jars... There's no shortage of recipes for snail lovers, of course! Educational tours, sometimes by night, are available by appointment during the summer months. Don't hesitate to ask.
