Formerly part of the commune of La Garde, the village is remarkable for the beauty of its many natural sites. The seaside resort boasts 7 km of coastline, unspoilt nature and numerous beaches and natural coves. In the heart of town, the Place Paul Flamencq is a lively place to be in the evening. Every Tuesday morning, Le Pradet hosts a local farmers' market, in addition to its weekly Friday market. Since 2018, the municipality has organized the Mondial de la moule, dedicated to the mollusc and its many culinary variations. The 5th edition of this popular festival will take place in October 2023.
