The medieval town of Hyères, a place to discover the traces of three successive city walls and numerous picturesque alleyways.

The city of Hyères developed around the castle built by Pons de Fos in the 11th century. One can discover the traces of the three successive walls and many picturesque alleys revealing a heritage of exceptional richness and diversity. Since 2017, the city of Hyères and the tourist office have set up an arts trail as part of the redevelopment of the old town center: many art craftsmen and artists welcome visitors to their workshops to discover their craft and their creations.

La vieille ville est très concentrée à l'intérieur de ce qui reste des remparts. En quelques heures , suivant un bon fléchage, vous pouvez visiter la tour des Templiers, les restes du château féodal, la collégiale et perchés un peu plus haut la Villa Noailles entourée de,son très beau jardin , proche du parc Sainte Claire.
Le tout est à entrée libre et gratuite.
