The admirable military and religious building is now a city hall and a setting for exhibitions.
The Saint-Blaise tower, a vestige of the Templars' commandery, is an admirable 12th century building with a military and religious vocation. After the dissolution of the order in 1307, the tower was given to the Order of Malta and was transformed into a market hall in the 18th century. In the 19th century, it became the town hall and is now used for numerous exhibitions.
Smart tip. Access the tower's terrace by a narrow staircase dug into the wall. This terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and the islands

Montée
La montée dans la tour vaut le détour par une chaude journée d'été. Idéalement située en centre-ville, elle propose des expositions.

Demandez à aller sur le toit de la tour, l’accès se fait par un tout petit escalier et à part si il pleut on ne vous le refuserez pas. De la haut on surplombe la ville et on y aperçoit les îles. Entrée y est gratuite
Beautiful monument in the heart of the old town. I could enjoy a beautiful exhibition inside and I have access to the roof of the monument by a small staircase. The city view is magnificent.
Superb historical monument in the heart of the medieval old town d'hyères. In this tower follow one another many exhibitions to the year. Moreover with a bit of luck (i.e weather permitting and staff upstairs) you can reach the roof of the tower where the view is superb. To see!
