The "authentic", on the other hand, is a singular oil, collected directly from the millstone. Come and taste it!
MOULIN À HUILE DE SAINT-CASSIEN
Read moreOf the 10 mills that existed in the 17th century in Draguignan, this mill is the only one to have survived the centuries. Fabrice Godet, the owner since 1982, crushes the olives of his 700 contributors (he doesn't have olive trees) in the old way: the crushing is done thanks to granite millstones, the paste is pressed with the help of scourtins. Then the liquid obtained is placed in settling tanks and the oil is collected in sheets. The shop of the mill offers oils and handcrafted soaps.
