Address offering decorated guest rooms and a table d'hôtes with home-made dishes made with local seasonal products

Gabrielle, Gilles and Julien's beautifully decorated guest rooms evoke the Provencal abbeys of Le Thoronet, Sénanque and Silvacane, and pay tribute to monastic work. The garden is enchanting. The table d'hôtes is set either in the glass roof, on the patio, by the pool or in the marvellous "guinguette" in the kitchen garden. Enjoy home-cooked dishes made with local, seasonal produce. A delight for the taste buds. A unique menu served at the family table.

Difficile de choisir les mots pour décrire cette maison d’hôtes aux charmes multiples. Située dans un cadre reposant, verdures naturelles accompagnées d’aménagements simples mais de bon ton. Quant à l’intérieur nous retrouvons le bon goût de Gabrielle pour une décoration simple mais chaleureuse ( à son image), les chambres spacieuses avec une très bonne literie… et concernant la table d’hôte, il faut juste aller passer un séjour sur place pour y découvrir les talents culinaires de Gabrielle. Les plats sont non seulement excellents, mais ils sont aussi très variés.|Mais toute cette magie qui opère dans cette maison , ne pourrait être ,sans l’extrême gentillesse et douceur de Gabrielle comme Gilles qui sont deux belles personnes. Leur maison leur ressemble.|Nous sommes ravis de les avoir rencontré. |De l’accueil jusqu’au départ, une présence discrète mais précieuse tellement ils sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes.|C’est certain , nous y retournerons…|Catherine

Moment suspendu, dans cette belle maison d’hôtes chaleureuse, à l’image de ses hôtes Gabrielle et Gilles .
En plus d’être une belle personne, Gabrielle est une excellente cuisinière .
Tout est réuni dans un cadre naturel magnifique pour passer un séjour reposant et ressourçant.
Je ne peux que vous recommander cet endroit magique.

This BnB is outside the village of Besse and is best reached using sat.nav, preferably before it gets dark. Believe me it is well worth the effort, as at the end of a narrow, winding track through the maquis is a really lovely property. Gabrielle, the proprietor is extremely helpful and generous. I had arrived later than expected on a Monday evening, which is the only day she does not cook for guests. (La table d'hôte). However she offered to share what was to be their dinner thus avoiding my having to go back to the village. I ate a delicious dinner with a local rosé, cheese and dessert.
The breakfast the following morning was also excellent.
The place is very quiet and peaceful. Alas, I had a funeral to go to that day otherwise I would have loved to take a long walk in the surrounding area.
Les Pierres Sauvages is a great place and the price for bed, breakfast and an evening meal I found most reasonable.
