An archaeological site offering a journey back in time, with many magnificent remains to be seen.

The site of Glanum offers you a journey through time. A few minutes from the centre of the village, on the road to Les Baux, you can't miss it. Opposite the entrance, on the right, the Arc de Triomphe and the mausoleum known as the Antiques serve as landmarks. Glanum, an ancient Roman village, was influenced by the Greeks and then the Romans. You can see many magnificent remains, so well restored that you can perfectly imagine the topography of the old city.

Very interesting site really. I appreciated the guided tour. Impressive walk in the footsteps of our Gallic ancestors. On the other hand I advise to go there in the morning when the sun does not type tyrop yet extremely. There is also a pretty view on the heights of the site to Mont Ventoux
I was a guided tour top of summit: the guide has to relive the town of an extremely interesting way... otherwise you can see the ruins from behind the fences.
