Former sheepfold in a wooded park between Aix-en-Provence and the Sainte-Victoire mountain.

Situated between Aix-en-Provence (5 km) and the Sainte-Victoire mountain (2 km), the Farm is not lacking in charm for those who love typical addresses. The old sheepfold is fitted out with character. The rooms are all quite different and spacious. The wooded park is quite vast and the numerous hiking and mountain bike trails around the Sainte-Victoire massif are directly accessible from the site. The closed loggia is a very pleasant relaxing break.

Jean was an INCREDIBLE host and the property is amazingly charming and located in a gorgeous Provencial setting in the south of France just outside the town of Aix-en-Provence. The room we had for 3 people was the size of a large apartment with two toilets, a simple living room on the bottom floor and two bedrooms and a shower and separate bathtub upstairs. Jean was incredibly kind and accommodating and made us breakfast every morning at 8 or 9 a.m. depending on our preference/plans. Breakfast was a delicious spread of croissants, French bread, hard boiled eggs, jams, butter, cheeses and coffee and orange juice. I would highly recommend renting a car as this little town is 10 minutes outside of a small town. The pizza truck Chez Seb and Jess Pizza Rossi at the end of the driveway is open Tuesday - Friday 5-9pm only. They are closed Sunday and Monday. During our stay in mid July 2025, there was also a truck selling burgers, snacks and some basic groceries. The pizza truck sells wine bottles and beer. I included photos updated from July 2025 with current menus. ||There is a gorgeous pool and we were even able to order some basic snacks and lunch on Uber eats and eat outside before we had a rental car as to not interrupt our pool day. Uber and Bolt are available for rides into town. There is also a bus that goes into town, but it takes a round about route so it takes a while and stops running somewhat early (7pm maybe?). We didn't end up using the bus, but Uber and Bolt can take a little extra time to pick up so build that into your plan if you don't have a car.

An absolutely charming and wonderful place to stay in the Aix de Provence region! Jean is so attentive and hospitable, the pool is cool and refreshing, there’s a lovely breakfast every morning by the koi pond, an absolute gem, especially for the price!
