Restaurant in a pretty bastide with an attractive menu
This large yellow bastide, once a post house, may not be in the most picturesque part of Meyreuil, but people come here to enjoy Provencal specialties - notably zucchini flowers - and more gourmet dishes such as foie gras and pigeon. Since 1987, Gabriel Astouric has been at the helm of this inn, with a number of signature dishes including the famous lobster in Armorican sauce and his dessert with calisson d'Aix and candied Apt melon. Otherwise on the menu, recipes follow the seasons: asparagus, truffles, game.

Fleurs de courgettes farcies aux deux saumons
Daube provençale et écrasée de pommes de terre
Dessert calissons
Ma soirée a été très très appréciée
Tout le monde s’est régalé
Très belles portions
J’ai déjà testé aussi le restaurant
Surtout à ne pas manquer !!!
Dishes well worked but not always convincing: the courgette flower stuffed with 2 salmon is not a success, the cigale dessert no more.
Lobster in main course was it perfect.
