FAÏENCERIE FIGUÈRES
The artisan has always been inspired by nature. Some, a little more artists in the soul, copy it openly, with pleasure of a fool of the eye. Since 1952, the Figuères family, which is part of this second category of craftsmen, perfect its "illusions" on earthenware. The hyperréaliste style has evolved somewhat over time. From its beginnings, where the manufacture of objects fell within the regional stritement theme, the decoration became increasingly baroque, with a profusion of fruits and vegetables that dominate plates, dishes, compotes, cup, baskets, but also seafood such as fillets or lobster. The pieces recall the paintings of a certain Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Exposed to the shop, except some rare works, all earthenware objects are on sale. Don't hesitate to come and visit the workshop (group or individual), and find very nice gift ideas and all budgets.
