CA CARTONNE
Read moreAccording to the precepts of architect Frank Gehry, who created his first tables and cardboard armchairs in the 1970 s, Julien became a master of the art of récup. With this light material, which he uses raw or printed, he manufactures furniture and objects for the house. Unique rooms with a furiously design look. Under-estimated by others, the cardboard is thus reworked without adding any chemicals. He re-begins a noble material by the artist's inventiveness. To enhance its strength and ensure its resistance, it is vitrified. To animate it, it is often painted. At the shop (expo/sale) you will find a selection of chairs, low tables, furniture for hifi, for children, as well as personalized objects made on order.

ATELIER POUPE
Read moreIn November 2021, Béatrice Sosna moved to Endoume, the neighborhood where she grew up and where her grandfather was a watchmaker and jeweler. Before that, Béatrice was in the real estate business, and the confinement of the area was a sort of lifebuoy, as she puts it... and it's buoys, fishing net floats, fenders, anything that floats, that Béatrice has decided to recycle. Her aim is to limit the incineration of PVC waste, which generates highly toxic pollution. She gives them a second life in the world of decoration, turning them into designer lamps for the interior, the garden, the poolside, colorful lighting fixtures, original wall lamps and softly shaped hanging lamps of all sizes. She makes few alterations, leaving the buoy in its original form and drilling small holes in the shape of patterns to diffuse the light. Béatrice doesn't have very technical tools, just a drill and a sander. It's pretty rudimentary, but she's been experimenting for 3 years, and her creations have been a success: she's been spotted by major retailers to decorate shop windows, her lamps are on private beaches, and she was a finalist in the Paris innovation competition. She designs and creates everything herself, from A to Z, and can tailor-make to your requirements. Prices start at 150€.
