Behind the Old Port, in the city center, the municipal opera house with its beautiful façade welcomes you every month for a new stage in opera-comic, music, ballets, and traditional opera… The fusion with the Odeon, higher on the Canebière also hosts some of the programs including the operettas. Every month an opera is offered on four dates, in the afternoon or in the evening. Other meetings are given with multidisciplinary exchanges that make us discover the opera in a different way including the digital project, a meeting between the classical world and video performance. The opera embraces all audiences with actions organized for the youngest, students, but also people remote from the world of culture from retirement homes to penitentiary centres.
