LA FERME DE CABRIÈRES
Read moreMarjorie and Adrien have been running this farm since 2012. Initially producers of red fruit, they planted an orchard from which they harvest the fruit when ripe. They freeze the fruit just after picking, to be transformed throughout the year into jams cooked in a cauldron. They also grow aromatic plants - saffron, thyme, rosemary, verbena and sage - which are dried and infused to make preservative- and colorant-free syrups. Also delicious fruity sorbets. Tip: Pick your own berries in season!

DOMAINE LES BÉATES
Read morePierre-François Terrat is one of the best winemakers in the Coteaux d'Aix appellation. His rosé Les Béates is of a rare power and can accompany meat dishes without any problem. Anything but a thirst-quenching wine. In a lighter range, the cuvée Les Béatilles is pleasant to drink. We appreciate the very reasonable prices considering the quality. The Béates vineyard covers 53 hectares of the best land in Lambesc. The Béates were nuns who, in the 16th century, went from village to village to teach children to read and write.
MOULIN DU PETIT JANET
Read moreA few kilometers from Aix, the Petit Janet mill was established in November 2012 under the impetus of Sébastien Lézaud, in the heart of the Côtes chain in Lambesc; the last oil mill in this area had closed in 1956 after the terrible devastating frost. Son and grandson of a farmer, Sébastien, a wine and cereal grower, is passionately committed to his domain as an olive grower, producing two oils with an intense green fruity taste, but also as a miller for the inhabitants of Lambesc who own a few olive trees.
