A 33-hectare park of Mediterranean vegetation on a plateau overlooking the Salon region, with 9 km of trails and 700 species of fauna
In the heart of a Natura 2000 site, the La Barben animal park extends over a 30-hectare plateau. Along the 9 km of trails, you'll discover 650 animals of 130 species: lions, giraffes, rhinoceroses, tigers, maned wolves, hippos, gazelles and gibbons. You can punctuate your walk with a picnic, a break at the restaurant or snack bar, or a visit to the 12th-century sheepfold housing the vivarium. There's also a mini-train, a store and plenty of entertainment (feeding, birds in flight, etc.).

Je suis venue en famille, un samedi de juillet. Le parc est très ombragé avec plusieurs espaces pour s'asseoir, se restaurer et se rafraichir.
Même si il y avait du monde, comme les espaces sont grands, cela ne se ressent pas du tout.
Je recommande vraiment cette sortie en famille si vous êtes dans les parages.
Beaucoup d'emplacement pour pique-nique, nombreux toilettes...

Les paysages sont top, le parc est super propre, on peut y manger, le prix est plus qu’abordable, je recommande très fortement !
Prévoir la journée pour profiter pleinement de tous le parc.
