A mining museum presenting the history of a territory, their profession and five centuries of mining.
On the coal mines of Gréasque, this site allows us to discover the history of a territory, its men and their profession, over five centuries of exploitation. Created in 2000 on the former site of the Hély d'Oissel shaft, the historical mining center still has its headframe listed in the inventory of historical industrial buildings. A journey to the center of the earth, the slide show and the museography recreate the atmosphere of the site at the time of its operation. From guided tours to animations for children, everything is done for a historical and playful moment!
