In the heart of this magnificent 1,000m2 architectural achievement, original paintings and drawings by the Dutch master and contemporary art creations rub shoulders in temporary exhibitions. Each artist's theme revolves around the work of Vincent Van Gogh. Superb works are to be found in the many rooms of the foundation. From 01/03 to 26/10, don't miss Sigmar Polke and his "Sous les pavés la terre". Well worth a visit.

Erg teleurstellend. Voor een stichting die de naam “Vincent van Gogh” draagt, verwacht je toch op z’n minst een degelijke collectie van zijn werk. Helaas: slechts twee schilderijen van Van Gogh te zien. Verder vooral hedendaagse kunst die weinig met hem te maken heeft. De entree is €10, wat totaal niet in verhouding staat tot wat je ervoor krijgt. Als je echt Van Gogh wilt bewonderen, kun je veel beter naar het Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Deze plek voelde meer als een marketingtruc dan een eerbetoon. Zonde van de tijd en het geld.

L'un des hauts lieux de la culture arlésienne. Expositions passionnantes qui vont bien au-delà de Van Gogh, espaces superbes et librairie intéressante.
