Built on the narrow site of the former royal Jeu de Paume dating from the mid-18th century, this superb little Italian-style theater with a capacity of 493 seats has a charm all its own, due in part to the intimate atmosphere it exudes. Completely renovated in 2000, it boasts comfortable seats and perfect acoustics. It works hand in hand with Marseille's Théâtre du Gymnase and the Grand Théâtre de Provence, each year offering a program that alternates from one venue to the other, but is combined in a single catalog offered to the public.

Lieu magnifique et juste magique pour cette expérience musicale. La pianiste était incroyable et a réussi à nous emmener dans ces deux univers avec une fluidité parfaite.

Moment hors du temps je recommande vivement, en espérant que vous ne tomberez pas sur l’hôtesse enrhumé à côté de vous !

Concert Candelight incroyable ! Par contre ne prenez pas l'option photo c'est une grosse arnaque ! Photo prise par un homme clairement pas photographe et de surcroît par son téléphone portable et en prime une photo en format Polaroïd où le piano ne s'avère même pas visible. Le fait que les places ne soient pas numérotées est vraiment dommage notamment pour ceux qui comme nous on attendu 30min pour une photo lamentable et qui on eu du coup les pires places pourtant catégorie B, tout au fond de la salle sous le plafond bas d'où ma mère ne se sentait pas bien et nous ne pouvions même pas voir la beauté de la salle... Très déçue !!!!
