A veritable temple dedicated to classical music, opera and dance, this theatre is one of the city's new must-see buildings. With its modern exterior and Italian-style auditorium, the GTP (Grand Théâtre de Provence) is equipped with the latest technology: high quality acoustics, an orchestra pit with 105 musicians and 1,370 seats, 950 of which are on the floor. In July, it hosts operas from the Festival of Lyric Art. At Easter, the festival of the same name takes place there.

Ont-ils seulement des micros, à proposer quand un dialogue s"instaure sur scène, ou dormaient ils dans les cintres ? Aucune réactivité.
Le seul moment d'échange, où il y a eu un peu d'affect à la fin du spectacle (entre W. Christie et l'irruption sur scène d'une cantatrice blonde amie, dont on ne saura jamais le nom) a été totalement inaudible pour 95 % des spectateurs... La voix parlée ne peut pas remplir une enceinte de 1400 places... Élémentaire mon cher Watson.
L'ambiance qu'on attendait d'un "joyeux anniversaire" n'était pas au rendez-vous. C'est vraiment dommage !
