It's a brand-new store that has set up shop in Place Charles de Gaulle. Established in La Rochelle for over 20 years, the ice cream maker's reputation is well established. He delights all gourmands. Orange bergamot, Caribbean chocolate, blackcurrant, bourbon vanilla... eighteen flavors of ice cream and sorbet are available in the Poitevin corner (it's less than in La Rochelle, but just as good, and for once, the choice will be less Cornelian... well... it's not sure!). These little sweets are available in jars or homemade cones (excellent!). Unless you're tempted by a plain waffle, with coulis, whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
