You are entering the estate of Dominique and Pascal Paineau, the proud owners of the Château de Riparfonds (15th century, then redesigned), who designed this garden in 1996. The garden was organized in 2 parts: one, Italian-inspired with its fountains, shaded parterres and pruned boxwoods, was devoted to pleasure; the other, reserved for the kitchen garden and orchards, where fruits and vegetables of yesterday and today proliferate. Furnished with arbors and passageways, scented with honeysuckle, this haven of peace is also home to works by contemporary artists.
