Le Phare de Ré is the only newspaper on the island! Created in 1949, under the impetus of René Rayneau, this weekly is distributed between 15,000 and 30,000 copies, depending on the season. Every Wednesday, Le Phare de Ré offers its readers news about the island, the communes, the week's agenda, sports results, and much more... It's worth noting that the weekly summary of the newspaper can be found on the website, as well as all back issues, available in digital format (for a fee).
