In the heart of the village of Urt, the Auberge de l'Estanquet restaurant and hotel have been renovated in keeping with the culinary traditions of the Basque Country. With talent and simplicity, the chef develops a cuisine based on local produce. Authentic dishes featuring seasonal produce. An alliance of land and sea with hake in Vizcaya sauce, Basque black pudding with 2 apples; and desserts with an assortment of Gasna (Basque cheeses) and black cherry jam, orange tiramisu and Koka (Basque caramel flan). Comme il peut y avoir du monde en salle, attendez vous à avoir un peu d'attente pour les plats, pour nous adultes pas trop dérangeant mais parfois pour les enfants ça peut paraître un peu "long". Mais ça reste raisonnable malgré tout.
Une adresse à garder qui pour nous le pays basque n'est pas très loin
Service de qualité, très bon accueil.
