The people of La Rochelle know this cellar well. Recognizable by its red façade, it's just a stone's throw from the covered market. For almost 25 years, Nicolas has been helping wine-lovers find a bottle to suit their palate. Admittedly, the store isn't very big, but the welcome is pleasant. The sales clerks, all wearing aprons, know the French vineyards inside out, so they're always ready to give good advice. With oysters under your arm and a few shrimps in your basket, you'll be sure to find a nice white wine.
