Each neighbourhood has its own market! The city centre is obviously an exception with the Halles, where shopkeepers meet every morning, but also the adjacent streets where stalls bloom in the morning on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Place de Verdun is colourful on Friday afternoons. But the shopkeepers do not forget the neighbourhoods. They meet in Tasdon on Tuesday morning, in Villeneuve-les-Salines the next day. On Thursday morning, place at Port-Neuf then Mireuil on Friday morning and of course, the unmissable La Pallice market on Sunday morning. It alone attracts a crowd of locals who take advantage of a special atmosphere to find fresh produce and clothing.
