A park in La Rochelle offering one of the most beautiful walks along the ocean, with a playground for rollerblading.
This is one of La Rochelle's most beautiful oceanfront parks. The path starts alongside the casino and takes walkers all the way to the Port Neuf district, with the omnipresent sea for company. There's something for everyone, with cyclists enjoying the shade of the trees on a paved ribbon, and strollers taking a pleasant break, admiring the wind as it makes the holm oaks dance. This green space, on a human scale, is a continuation of the casino park. Bordered by the green, flower-filled allées du Mail, a path leads you to the bandstand; further on, the path becomes tarred and more rolling. It winds through the trees, offering welcome shade in summer. Children will find here the ideal playground for rollerblading and scootering, while parents can watch them from the corner of their eyes on one of the benches.
