A park offering a beautiful promenade, La Rochelle's true green lung, a link between the city center and the ocean.

A veritable green lung for La Rochelle and a link between the city center and the ocean, this park was designed between 1887 and 1890 on former military land. It offers a 2 km stroll over a total area of 40 hectares. It's a delight to stroll along the flower-filled, shady paths that lead down to the Plage de la Concurrence, or to stop on a bench for a bucolic break. Cyclists can take advantage of the renovated cycle paths to reach the town center, while children can have fun on the playground.

Belle balade à commencer au nord du coté de la rue Léonce Mailho pour redescendre jusqu'à la l'allée du Mail derrière les tours, en tout près d'1,5 km.

Charruyer Park is a north/south park that allows you to cross the city of La Rochelle to join the Competition Beach. It's a beautiful green space, with grass, trees and a watercourse. There are also children's games. It's a nice place to protect yourself from sun and heat, just a few steps from the sea.

Un superbe parc en plein centre ville de la Rochelle. Il débouche directement sur la plage de la concurrence et permet de traverser la ville a pied dans un cadre de verdure. Idéal pour se prélasser!
