CENTRE CHORÉGRAPHIQUE NATIONAL (CCN)

The National Choreographic Center of La Rochelle-Poitou-Charentes has been headed since 2008 by choreographer Kader Attou, the first hip-hop dance choreographer of a national choreographic center. Located in the magnificent Fromentin chapel which has experienced several uses (exhibition venue, lecture room and shows), the center's project has several vocations, including the development of the artistic offer for the access of works to the greatest number. The CNN offers artist residences, manages a studio reception system, offers a companion with young French companies and, more directly interested, offers hip-hop dance programming throughout the year. The calendar of performances is available on the website and in their quarterly newsletter distributed throughout the city. Kader Attou's dance and choreographic creations are unanimous.
