LYCÉE HÔTELIER

The Lycée Hôtelier was one of the first schools to be built in La Rochelle's student district. Today, Les Minimes is inextricably linked with the building, which opened in 1986 and is located in the immediate vicinity of the port and the university campus. Over the years, the lycée has built up a solid reputation. The hundreds of students who attend are trained in the three hotel trades: cooking, service and accommodation. A variety of diplomas enable students to progress within the region's numerous companies. The CAP guarantees tenure in the trade linked to the chosen speciality, the BAC pro prepares students for working life, the BTS is a two-year professional training course, while the Mention Complémentaire is reserved for the most motivated students eager to perfect their knowledge. The school in La Rochelle has a training hotel, "Le Transatlantique", ideal for travelers passing through who wish to benefit from the usual services of a quality hotel, as well as a training restaurant, open to all. Guests can enjoy gourmet cuisine (by reservation only), while discovering the talents of our young trainees.
