It's not just another café like the dozens you'll find in La Rochelle, but a unique place on a quiet downtown street. Infini thé is set up under the arcades of rue Dupaty, with a window display as bright as it is beautifully presented. Just step through the doors and you'll be filled with the scent of tea. Alyson and Henri will advise you on a wide range of teas. But before choosing, the Petit Futé recommends you head to the back of the store for a moment of tasting. There's a pellet stove in the lounge that provides a gentle warmth, ideal for enjoying a cup of tea and spending a few sweet moments. Next door is a recently refurbished patio. Comfortably seated in this intimate space, you'll have plenty of time to choose from a range of fragrant green teas, Russian flavors, white teas, Darjeelings, black teas and, of course, coffees from the four corners of the globe: Brazil, Costa Rica, Peru.... The magic happens when you take a sip, and the winter in La Rochelle becomes milder. And to accompany these hot drinks, indulge in a plate of homemade cakes: chocolate fondant, pear and coconut cake, pineapple cake, tutti frutti cake...
