Olivier Montagne is at the head of this bar-restaurant located on the Place de la Poste, opposite a Town Hall which has regained all its splendour. Many people from La Rochelle come to sit on the terrace for a coffee between two meetings, but also for lunch. The Renaissance offers brasserie-style dishes to be tasted in a timeless room from which you can admire the comings and goings of passers-by. The place is popular with many city dwellers for the pleasant welcome by a responsive staff, which allows you to treat yourself to a meal break around fresh produce. One can taste here, the dish of the day, but also home-made croques and the inevitable pancakes.
