Hotel restaurant in a pleasant setting where you can enjoy local cuisine with products from local producers.

A pilgrim's stopover with this hotel and its restaurant, open to all, in a pleasant setting with a huge beamed dining room, or on the terrace in fine weather. You'll enjoy generous, seasonal, local cuisine, using mainly locally-sourced produce. Foie gras, omelette with porcini mushrooms, fish, duck with pears, not forgetting a declination of suckling lamb from the Pyrenees... A convivial place to eat, with 27 comfortable rooms.

HOTEL DE LA PAIX IN SAINT-PALAIS IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY

At the crossroads of Santiago de Compostela, Dominique Lalanne and his team welcome you "Etxenbezala" as if you were at home in the small town of Saint Palais in the heart of the Basque Country. In order to make the most of your stay, we combine the comfort of the city with that of the countryside.

Our 27 spacious rooms, meeting the new 3* classification standards (2017 certification), all have flat-screen TV (TNT, Bouquet Canal+, Bein Sport), free wifi access and private bathroom.

The establishment is served by a lift and some of our rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

We can accommodate tourist groups discovering the region as well as professional seminars.

We offer you a traditional and seasonal cuisine. Come and taste the generous dishes of the South-West, as soon as the weather is fine, on the terrace in the shady garden of the hotel.

Bon petit resto basque. Il est typique, les plats sont régionaux et copieux. C'est une belle découverte. Le service est rapide et l'accueil est parfait. Petite halte à faire dans ce très beau restaurant!

Petit repas du soir avec des amis, j'ai choisi une salade de chipirons (copieuse et gouteuse) et un assortiment de desserts (profiterolles, riz au lait, gâteau, mousse au chocolat et salade de fruits) le tout avec un verre de vin pour 26€. Rien de très original dans nos choix, mais résultat correct dans un cadre agréable
