From the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz to that of Hendaye, the Corniche Basque joins the cliffside with an exceptional panorama, at the gateway to Spain. You'll pass through the village of Ciboure and its typical harbour, skirt the Socoa fort and the Château d'Abbadia. As the historic route is no longer accessible following the latest landslides caused by erosion and the fragility of the rocks, another bucolic path, away from traffic, is now on offer. Allow 3 hours' walking with a slight gradient over a distance of 12 km.
