Here, it's all about fish (his grandfather was a fisherman) with a Basque sauce, all "homemade" with the port nearby. Having fallen into the world of fish when he was a boy, Yvan, after a tour of Europe and some of France's top restaurants, has returned to his roots for our gustatory pleasure, in the Halles district, a meeting place for gourmets from Luz and beyond.

Open all year round. July/August, open for lunch and dinner Monday and Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday; September to June, open for lunch and dinner Thursday to Monday. Reservations recommended. Menus: €34, €88/2 pers. A la carte: approx. €40/45. Children's dish: €12. American Express, luncheon vouchers. Groups welcome (privatization possible, please enquire). Takeaway to order. Languages spoken: French, Spanish, English.

The restaurant Pil Pil ENEA is present since 1998 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, behind the Halles district. We make it a point of honour to make your meal an unforgettable moment in a friendly atmosphere.
A cuisine of traditional dishes such as the famous fish soup as well as typical Basque dishes (hake, chipirons, parillada...). We source our fish from local fishermen.
Wines from tastefully selected producers to accompany your dishes, ask Nicolas for advice. He will help you discover the wine list on the slate. You will choose among the wines selected between 1er cru bourgeois, châblis, jurançon or the excellent Irouléguy from the Maison Brana
A room with 26 seats, decorated with fishing nets, bottles of wine and photos of fishing boats. It is best to reserve your table, for your lunch or dinner, at PiL PiL ENEA. You also have the possibility to privatize the restaurant for a birthday, a family party or an evening with friends.
