Owner's Message
In the heart of the Basque Country, in Ossès, between Biarritz and St Jean Pied de Port, the Goicoechea family has been making and creating terracotta pottery for three generations.
Born in 1960 from the hand of Jean-Baptiste Goicoechea, the Poteries Goicoechea is today managed by his son Michel and his wife Terexa, assisted by their children. Proud of his heritage, his roots and his know-how, the whole family is united around this exceptional heritage.
Generation after generation, the gestures remain the same, but the creations evolve with the trends, now displayed in the garden as well as in the living room. Today, the family business has become a small business with 20 employees, present throughout France and abroad.
Although the heart of the company is firmly rooted in the village of Ossès and its native Basque Country, it is the prestigious town of Saint Jean de Luz that Goicoechea Pottery has chosen to showcase its products.
