Château de Mesplès in Saint-Goin is a magnificent example of 18th-century Béarn architecture. Built between 1710 and 1715 by Jean-Anchot de Mesplès, the château adopts the Regency style, with its beautiful, rhythmic facades and luxurious interiors. Designed for receptions, it boasts superb rooms decorated with stucco, panelling and marble fireplaces. Its formal gardens complete this exceptional ensemble, once home to the prestigious Marquis de Mesplès, a leading figure in the aristocracy of the Bearn region. A visit is a must to admire this rare testimony to the refinement of the period.
