It is said that this alignment of levées stones would be tied to the rocks that Gargantua removed from his shoe. But there is another version, to discover in a foggy atmosphere, when the greatest stone (high 1,80 m high and 1,90 m wide) grows moans and speaks to its neighbours! Sensitive souls abstain… Another popular belief wants this stone to turn on itself on the Christmas night at midnight, at a time when the fées, witches and elves of the surrounding area dance vicious rounds. If you decide to spend the holiday on the site, you have a picnic table to taste turkey… or the wild boar in Obelix!
