Die Kathedrale ist atemberaubend in ihrer Schönheit und Ausstattung, ein Meisterwerk der gotischen Baukunst. In den Sommermonaten gibt es am späten Abend ein wunderschöne Light-Show am Nordportal. Ein Besuch lohnt sehr.

Największa katedra we Francji i miejsce "must see" będąc w Amiens lub okolicy.
Mały minus za brak języka angielskiego w opisach. Około 30 minut na zwiedzanie.

Petite visite de la magnifique cathédrale d’Amiens, hâte de revenir la découvrir et admirer tous les détails de ses sculptures et architectures.
Sur notre retour le soir, nous avons été surpris par les luminosités qui illumine la façade avec le fond sonore qui nous donne envie de passer la nuit à l’admirer.
Bravo à tous pour cette merveille :)

Przepiękna katedra w Amiens. Wejście darmowe. Niedaleko płatny parking. Piękne wnętrza pełne zabytkowych rzeźb i obrazów. Warto przyjechać i doświadczyć tej przestrzeni osobiście.

Den Turm darf man leider nur in geschlossenen Schuhen besteigen auch wenn sie noch so leicht sind. In stabilen Outdoorsandalen fürs Gelände wurde mir der Aufgang verwert. Schade!

Huge cathedral, at least in my experience, as I am not really a cathedral expert.... One can choose which Saint to honour of to pray to or burn a candle for. Extremely detailed tableaux with more or less medieval daily life and church life images. The whole building is so full of symbols and sculptures that it is impossible to grasp. The large organ was under restoration, but also that is huge. Worth a visit, it is for free and nice cool inside on top of all those holiness.
