LE LOBBY

Wine bar
4.6/5
25 reviews
Closed - Opens in 18 minutes

The Pont de la Dodane has found a table worthy of its beautiful location. Formerly the restaurant Les Marissons (first restaurant opened in Saint-Leu!), the owners, Maxime Vaquette and David Le Pêcheur, have transformed it into a chic and cosy setting. The decoration is very successful and the harmony of the colors is associated with the comfort and the quality of the place. In addition to offering a bistronomic table, Le Lobby is also a wine bar with nearly 100 references available by the glass. The beautiful selection of Veuve Clicquot champagnes and the very good cocktails are added to the menu. To be accompanied by a board or a plate to share, like the very successful vegetable aioli.

LE CAPPUCINO

Coffee shop and tea room
5/5
2 reviews

Formerly Le Continental, this bar-cafe-restaurant with its trendy early 20th century decoration offers travellers a gourmet stop in the city centre, a stone's throw from the cathedral and opposite Marie-sans-Chemise. We appreciate the warm welcome reserved for the customers, as well as the care taken in the service and the general cleanliness of the place. Very regularly, the establishment welcomes music groups that make the place even more friendly and lively. It is therefore a very pleasant stopover, with friends or on your own, between two errands in the city centre to enjoy a cappuccino, for example, or to chat over tea or coffee...

LE LIVING

Small in size, but big in reputation as a bar with a friendly atmosphere, the Living will always surprise you with its rather kitschy musical atmosphere that often sends a relaxed live clientele away. The waiters are very friendly, even delirious - just like the atmosphere... The bar, which benefits from a very pleasant terrace and a charming little room upstairs, has found its marks with its festive atmosphere where conviviality reigns. Amazing cocktails and draught beers are served there. An establishment that has become a must on the famous Place du Don, in the heart of Saint-Leu, the meeting place for all student parties.

MAROTT'STREET

Bar and caf
4.3/5
3 reviews

What a magnificent place! Built in 1892 by the Gustave Eiffel architectural firm, this former insurance office has been restored to become a bar with a grandiose decor. And what can you drink in such an extraordinary place? Not booze, of course, but a glass of champagne (and the best!) or a glass of wine. In fact, the cellar and its casks are right under your feet, as the floor tiles are made of glass and reflect the splendid glass roof over the room. New: you can now take a reading break at Marott'street, where you can discover the history of the region, its cultural heritage, its gastronomy, its gardens, its chateaux, its B&Bs and much more.

LE BARRIO

Barrio became a safe bet in Amiens. First of all because in Picardy, tapas bars do not run around the streets. But also for the quality of the cuisine is really go. All products are fresh, and this formula, three or five, seven tapas, whose only chef decided association, will delight the recalcitrant of guests. With also tasting, and without moderation, non-alcoholic cocktails, each more tasty than the last. Only drawback: a little high prices.

The establishment claims a certain standing with a good whisky cellar (nearly forty varieties), nearly a hundred cocktails. The atmosphere is calm and muffled under a subdued light, except from Thursday to Saturday after 10:30 pm when karaoke fans come to sing along. Sports enthusiasts should also be aware that most sporting events are broadcast on a giant screen. You can also enjoy tapas for aperitifs. For the anecdote, the owner is the former cycling champion Philippe Gaumont.

COULEUR CAFE

Bar and caf
3.4/5
5 reviews

An institution in the Saint-Leu district. We come here, where rum and music are flowing, to drink or chat in a warm atmosphere, to dance to the sounds of Caribbean and African music, but also trip hop, rock and pop. From time to time, on Tuesdays, there are live concerts, very eclectic (announced on the Facebook page). Cold or hot cocktails with or without alcohol, the Couleur Caf', as it is called by the regulars, is a little corner of sunshine in which the thirty and forty year olds essentially meet to have a good time. Often crowded, there is always something going on, but without any overflow.

The British pub of the Bélu wharf. The students rush there in the week to drink glasses and listen to music in the 1980 s or more recent music, depending on the mood of the DJ. Recently remodelled, it is warm in winter and has a sunny terrace when the season lends itself to it. Sport takes place here on a large screen in a musical atmosphere adapted to the circumstances. Attention: there are a lot of seats, here you can stand next to the bar. So, for those who are looking for an ambience, go your way!

In this office, you will find something other than torturers or phone-tue phones, on the contrary it is at the break that you will come to drink or eat. The brewery is made up of English pubs and duplicated in the same way throughout France (the chain has been present from north to south since 1990). The city's students and employees come to eat among other salads, pizzas, hamburgers or flammeküeches, and for sports lovers: broadcast on television screens scattered throughout the room. In the summer, the terrace of the bar is very good for sunbathing.
