Large house in the countryside in Monein with charming and different rooms.
A large building dating from 1860, set in the heart of nature, with the Pyrenees in the background. In this beautiful corner of Béarn, you'll be seduced by the landscape of Jurançon vineyards. 3 evenings a week, you can sample your hosts' regional cuisine: garbure, chicken, free-range duck, peaches with Jurançon. The homemade breakfast is also sumptuous. The rooms offer a harmonious blend of color and originality in decoration, each one different from the next, combining the spirit of the past with that of the present in harmony. The peaceful nature of the hillsides and vineyards.

We booked this on our way home without knowing anything about the area. The location of the house is fantastic, on a hill overlooking vineyards and close to Lacommande (good wine shop with lots of local wines) and Monein. The house is lovely, the garden fantastic for sitting in with a wine and snack, and although we didn't use it, the pool looked good. The room was spotless, quiet and comfortable (cool, but has a fan just in case). There are only four rooms so it doesn't feel crowded, and plenty of space. There is information available about the local area. Lovely breakfast. Very nice owner. Wished we could have stayed in the area for longer.

Que je regrette les bons petits déjeuners de notre hôtesse. Une béarnaise bien trempée de caractère mais qui fait tout pour que votre séjour dans sa maison soit agréable. Les chambres sont très agréables. Une piscine est disponible également.
