Located a few steps from the cathedral, this museum offers to discover the world of hunting through paintings, all more admirable than the others, hides of a family boar, costumes of venery ... You will discover a world unknown to the general public on three floors. Don't be afraid to discover stuffed animals, like this stag that can be seen at the end of the first gallery or this boar on the first floor. We discover the splendor of the venery under the Ancien Régime. The staff is very welcoming!

Opening time and information on VENERARY MUSEUM

Open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Free until 18 years old. Adult : 6 € (pass with the Museum of Art and Archaeology). Reduced rate 3,50 €. Free for Senlisians and under 18 years old. Guided tour (departure every hour in the afternoon and all day on weekends). Store.

Ce musee est tres interessant et l'un des seuls sur le thème de la chasse. On y voit des animaux empaillés, des peintures reflétant la chasse, des vêtements, accessoires. A faire si on est a Senlis.
