Built in the 15th century, it is one of the oldest civil houses in Mauléon located on an axis linking the castle to the lower town, rue du Fort. The lintel above the door indicates the date of 1485! The large entrance door was used to bring in animals while the first floor was reserved for the owners. With the half-timbered floor, it symbolizes an example of medieval housing, but nobody has yet identified who this fairy is...
