Rich of a long experience in a famous Parisian establishment, place de la Concorde in Paris, the owner, from the country, had only one idea: to come back and work with his son in Mauléon, his native village. Equipped with a terrace and a majestic counter, the restaurant offers a Parisian brasserie cuisine in Basque version, with eels and trout from Licq, entrecote, rack or shoulder of lamb, Basque burgers and the famous bistro desserts. This is Paris in Mauléon!

Restaurant servant des plats locaux excellents. Mention spéciale pour les œufs en meurette et le confit de canard car il est bien grillé ce qui est rare. La serveuse est adorable.

La serveuse très agréable et gentille heureusement. La cuisine décevante en ce dimanche midi pour un repas de famille, Burger servis à peine tièdes (la serveuse nous a proposé de les rechauffer), plus de truite de Licq mais du merlu...au prix de la truite! Cassoulet maison moyen, sec. Dessert, fondant au chocolat qui n'en est pas un...mais de la mousse au chocolat. Désolé mais ça ne vaut pas le prix. Il faut revoir le rapport qualité prix.
