Royal forest which constitutes a place of choice for a walk far from the city in a unique setting in Compiègne.
This royal forest covers 15,000 ha (and a further 5,000 ha with the Laigue forest), and is extended to the south by the Villers-Cotterêts forest. It was in this forest that the first footpaths in France were created, which now lead walkers to places to discover, relics, old stones... It is, of course, a prime location for a walk away from the city! You'll appreciate the natural majesty of the area, as will your children, who can play their favorite games.

Quelle forêt
Une forêt majestueuse, qui gagne en intérêt quand on s'y enfonce avec respect. Sans ça le réseau de pistes permet de la sillonner dans tous les sens.

Une forêt très agréable à parcourir avec plusieurs possibilités de randonnées, à travers la forêt, autours des lacs. Le tout se fait facilement depuis le château. Une superbe vue depuis le bout de l'avenue des Beaux-Monts qui relie la forêt au château!

Une forêt magnifique où on peut contempler la nature et si on est chanceux, voir des animaux. Une très bonne sortie à faire aussi avec des enfants.

cette forêt est immense, on peut y faire de belle rencontre (animaux), très sauvage, les chemins sont balisés

Ne pas partir de Compiègne sans se balader dans la forêt de Compiègne, majestueuse et très verdoyante. De larges sentiers et multiples détours, bien balisés d'ailleurs. Et pourquoi ne pas prendre le VTT ????
