The cloister houses a library reading room, a tea room ideal for an enchanting break under the vaults or in the garden, and a small museum among our favorites. The place is luminous thanks to a superb renovation of the cloister's polychromy. What a pleasure it is to wander among the statues with the audioguide commentated by André Dussollier! We learn that this is where the city was born, when Charles the Bald wanted to create a city on the scale of Aachen.
