Musée de l'Armistice in Compiègne, featuring a replica of the wagon in which the Armistice was signed, and a cab from the Marne since 2021.

The site received worldwide media attention on the occasion of the Centenary of the Armistice of the First World War. For the occasion, the Clairière and the sacred slab were renovated. After soaking up the poignant atmosphere of the site, don't miss a visit to the Armistice Museum. It has been completely renovated and keeps as a highlight the replica of the wagon where the Armistice was signed and a cab of the Marne since 2021. This museum also presents another historical episode: the Armistice of June 22, 1940 signed here between the ^Third Reich and the Pétain government.

April 1 to September 30: daily 10 am to 6 pm (last admission 5:15 pm). Low season October 1 to March 31: daily 10am to 5:30pm, closed in January and on Tuesdays (last admission 4:45pm). Adults €8. Children aged 7 to 18: €6. Groups of 30: €6.
