CHURCH OF SAINT HUBERT

Churches cathedrals basilicas and chapels

Saint-Hubert was the chapel of the castle of Beaurepaire. It was built by Adrien of Hénencourt in the 1510 s, author of the famous stalls of Amiens Cathedral, of which he was the dean of the chapter. Its only ornament is the ancient portal, to the west, once surmounted by three statues crowned with canopy. We still see the Escutcheon crest. A small chapel with a stately cloister, decorated with Louis XIV woodwork, was infused in the north.
