Things to see and do Beaurepaire

Saint-Hubert was the chapel of the castle of Beaurepaire. It was built by Adrien of Hénencourt in the 1510 s, author of the famous stalls of Amiens Cathedral, of which he was the dean of the chapter. She became a parish church in 1662. Its architecture boils down to a vaulted nave finished by a apse with three parts. Its only ornament is the ancient portal, to the west, once surmounted by three statues crowned with canopy. We still see the Escutcheon crest. A small chapel with a stately cloister, decorated with Louis XIV woodwork, was infused in the north.

Its access is limited to a discreet entrance to the road where it has to be inferred, between Verneuil-en-Halatte and Pont-Sainte-Maxence. A long wooded road leads us to the private domain, visible as from outside. But one can think for a moment about the walls of the castle and its th and th centuries moat.
