LE BUFFET DE LA GARE

If there is one place that has preserved the architectural and decorative beauty of Art Deco, it is the Buffet de la Gare. From the outside, nothing suggests that the interior is made of wood, marble, mosaics, stained glass and fine gold. As soon as you enter the restaurant, thanks to the classical or gustatory guided tours, you can easily guess the lively atmosphere that prevailed in the 1920s and 1930s. The buffet was a friendly place for all travelers in transit at that time and is today the symbol of this unusual architecture.
