A renovated 18th-century house with 4 spacious, cosy bedrooms where intimacy rhymes with conviviality. A host of outdoor activities are on offer, thanks to the exceptional location. Hiking, the Baigura leisure center, rafting, lazing around. Appreciate the time, the disconnection. Evening table d'hôtes (book in advance) with local produce.

Welcome to Iholdy in the Basque Country, near Saint-Jean-Pied de Port and Saint-Palais in Basse-Navarre.
Lukugaraia, our fully-renovated mid-18th-century house, is ready to welcome you to its rural setting in the heart of the Basque Country.
Three spacious bedrooms invite you to relax and unwind, while a fourth, more intimate room is ideal for a couple with a child. It features two independent rooms in a single space.
And all this in a green setting, ideal for a relaxing break!
What's more, a host of outdoor activities are just a stone's throw away: hiking, paragliding, downhill scooters, rafting and beaches.
Less than a quarter of an hour away, the Oxocelhaya Caves are a must for those seeking a refreshing change of scene!
In the evening, you can dine at our table (reservation required) in a convivial atmosphere.
We offer products from local producers located 20kms from the house.
-Cheeses from Virginie Oyhenart's Ithurbidia farm (Méharin)
-Ducks from Arnabar farm (Ossés)
-Kintoa pig from Landaia farm (Iholdy)
-Blonde d'Aquitaine meat from Achéritogaray farm (Iholdy)
-Trout from the Banca fish farm (Banca)
and most of our vegetables come from our own garden!

Our house is equipped for electric car recharging (fee payable).

On va y revenir
Un super accueil, une chambre confortable et impeccable.
Et en plus une vue sur les montagnes à couper le souffle.
On a vraiment bien dîné, avec des produits choisis et provenant des fermes alentours, tout était top !
Le petit déjeuner est parfait.
prestations très haut de gamme.
On espère pouvoir retourner passer plus de temps sur place dès le mois de septembre !

Ce gite propose aussi la table d’hôte avec les spécialités du pays…
Les chambres vont de 40m2 à 60m2 sur une maison de 300m2, autant dire que vous aurez de la place pour vous reposer.
Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, tranquille, avec des hôtes charmant, il faut vous y rendre.
Nous avons adoré notre passage et nous reviendrons sans soucis.
