LA VISITATION
A former 17th-century convent, Là Visitation is a lively shopping area with a central courtyard of terraces.
The Visitation is a former convent founded in 1634, which has been rehabilitated into a large, convivial shopping area. After the French Revolution, the nuns were expelled and the buildings became home to the civil and criminal courts, until their move to the Jacobins in 1991, and also a prison, until 2010. Today, you can admire the ashlar vaults and internal circulation axes, allowing you to visit all the shops (bars, restaurants, spa hotel, art gallery, games store) and enjoy the terraces, summer and winter alike.
